Komut Studio
Large scale 3D printing or recycled materials
Furniture-scale additive manufacturing of recycled plastics
Komut Studio use robotic systems to 3D print recycled plastics and create large-scale pieces. These pieces, including furniture, can be made directly out of the waste products of their clients and create a cradle to cradle lifecycle for their wares. Komut Studio have also developed a process to add micronized stone to their prints and increase durability whilst adding a subtle texture.
One of the major selling points of Komut’s process is the variety of forms that they can create, including vertical angles of 45°. Due to the nature of the process, and their use of HAL Robotics tools to program their machines, they can create unique parts on every run and cater to their clients’ every need.
